The Group also specialises in providing selected advisory and banking services in corporate finance/M&A and structured finance.

Activities structured in two client-oriented business segments

Valartis Group structures its business activities on the basis of the two major client groups (see also Group Organisation):

Over 300 dedicated employees in 6 countries

With a team of more than 300 highly qualified staff in six countries, the Group manages about CHF 6.5 billion in assets. The Group’s holding company, Valartis Group AG, Baar, is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and is controlled by MCG Holding AG, Baar. As a Swiss financial group, Valartis is subject to consolidated supervision by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).

Our Offices

Valartis has an extensive international network of expertise and contacts. In addition to the banking locations of Zurich, Geneva, Vienna and Liechtenstein, the Group is also present in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Luxembourg and Singapore.

The Group’s core markets include Switzerland and its neighbouring countries, and in particular Eastern Europe/CIS, as well as portions of the American and Asian continent. The purpose of the office in Singapore is to enable the Group to service promising markets in the rapidly growing Asian region and to provide a local service to new and existing private banking clients.

“In recent years, Valartis Group has invested in building up the private banking business in Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein. These investments are beginning to show positive results, and we believe to be well positioned to take advantage of the opportunities that the changing and challenging market environment is presenting.”
